Vast Coworking Group has partnered with Uniti to bring agentic AI into the day-to-day operation of its franchise network, giving Venture X, Office Evolution and Intelligent Office locations in the United States automated agents that work around the clock.
The agents are designed to operate across voice, SMS, email and web chat rather than living inside a single channel, and they connect to HubSpot, the customer relationship platform many of the network's centers already use. That integration is the practical difference between a chatbot and a system that can act: the agent can see where a prospect sits in a pipeline and move that record forward.
The tasks in scope are the unglamorous ones that consume a small office team. The agents can answer lead questions, book tours, confirm room reservations and follow up when a membership is nearing renewal, work that usually waits on whoever opens the office in the morning and that often decides whether an enquiry converts.
For franchisees, the appeal is coverage without headcount. A standalone coworking operator rarely staffs a night desk, yet a prospect browsing at nine in the evening expects an answer immediately. Automated response also lowers the cost of the repetitive part of sales, letting a center owner spend time on tours and tenant relationships instead of inbox triage.
The broader significance for franchising is that the support a network provides is starting to include software that performs work rather than software that records it. A system that deploys a shared agent across hundreds of independently owned locations gains a consistent customer experience and a data trail no single operator would build alone. The risk sits in the same place: when an agent speaks for a brand, a bad answer becomes the franchisor's problem as well as the center's.
